Introduction
SECP issued notification S.R.O. 1261 (I)/2018 dated October 10, 2018.
Commentary
It notifies amendments to the “Limited Liability Partnership Regulations 2018”. This applies to all Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP) with immediate effect. Through this SRO, SECP made new insertions in the “Limited Liability Partnership Regulations 2008” which require an LLP to comply with the followings with immediate effect:-
- Display certificate of incorporation at its registered office.
- Maintain a register of partners with a statement of their ownership percentages and their associated voting rights at its registered office.
- Keep copy of LLP Agreement including amended copies, if any, at its registered office.
