Under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2017 a company is a corporate body with separate legal entity and a perpetual succession. Any three or more persons associated for lawful purpose may, by subscribing their names to the Memorandum of Association and complying with the requirements of the Companies Act, 2017 can form:

  • A public company
  • A private company

If only one member forms a private company, it is called a single member company, the following steps needs to be followed to create and register a company in Pakistan.

USER REGISTRATION

 Whether you are a new or existing user of eservices for a company registration and post incorporation activities, you will be able to get yourself registered as a user (whether as a Pakistani or Foreign national) by just visiting the SECP website. Following particulars are required by Pakistani national for generating a User ID and Password through the system.

  • Valid national identity card
  • Mobile number (not used in any registration before)
  • Email address (not used in any registration before)

In case of Foreign National.

  • Valid passport
  • Photo graph
  • Mobile number (not used in any registration before)
  • Email address (not used in any registration before)

After getting this detail go to SECP website click on eservices, a new tab open, on left top corner following option appears below.

  • Signup for National
  • Signup for Foreign
  • Forget login Information

According to nationality holder click on related option, after clicking a new tab open containing some particulars which need to be filled, a link mentioned below for Signup for national. https://eservices.secp.gov.pk/eServices/ControllerServlet

Enter the particulars in blank fields carefully then click on signup button a codes received on given cell number & email address. A new tab open shows two fields.

  • Email Code
  • SMS Code

Put these codes on related fields after putting them, a password received on email, In case of Pakistani national ID will be the ID card number & password is that which is received through the email and registration process is completed now you are successfully enrolled with SECP.
