Let’s be honest, we have all reached that point in our lives where we have to drag our feet to the office and feel like giving up or backing off.  It is so important to stay motivated and inspired in order to go above and beyond to give your company the best of you. Read on; here are some tips & tricks to get you motivated in no time.

  1. Take care of yourself

Health is the real wealth. If you are just barging in the office after having an oil-dripping and sugar-packed dinner the previous night, you won’t be able to focus well on your work. A healthy diet and at least 8 hours of sleep is the path to clear focus. Stay Hydrated. Drink a lot of water. You don’t want to be known as a ‘dry guy’ at work. Go for salat (Namaz) this is the best exercise to keep you active and an energetic.

  1. Organize and schedule

Organize your desk. Buy an indoor plant or a classic pen holder or put up a photo frame on your desk, whatever works for you. Consolidate files and papers. Make schedule for everything you need to do during your shift. Don’t stress yourself out.

  1. Set small and achievable goals

As it is self-explanatory, set small and achievable goals. Unrealistic goals would keep you frustrated. Some days, you would be just thrown to the large and scary goals. Just take a deep breath and break goals into small ideas that you can digest (attainable) one at a time. If you are the one who waits for the long-term rewards, then you’re forgetting how crucial the small celebrations are. Treat yourself after getting small tasks done. Don’t underestimate gratitude.

  1. Accept differences

Your coworkers may not have the same background or culture as you. They may not see the problems in the same way as you do. Accept their opinions and points of view.  Respect should be maintained to make workplace enjoyable. Always help each other out and work as a team.

  1. Stay Up to Date

Stay updated. Follow social media, press media or electronic media to know what’s going in the world and what changes they will bring to the field you work in.

  1. Know your clients

Do not be a robot with the people you are dealing with. Converse with your clients, know them better and serve them best. You may gain some surprising insights.
